Sadie Amara Calvano is an actress from America that has gained fame for portraying Violet Plunkett in the CBS sitcom "Mom'. Calvano born in California had a first interest in competing gymnastics. Later, she decided to pursue a career as an actress. Her first screen appearance was in 2010 on a segment of CBS program 'NCIS'. In the crime drama biographical movie J Edgar, she made her debut on the big screen a just a few months later. In the past, she's established herself as one the most promising actors in the industry. For her performance in 'NCIS', she was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best performance in a television Series Guest-starring Young Actress 11-15 years old in the year 2011. In 2013 she was also nominated for an additional Young Artist Award for her guest appearance in Disney XD's comedy series, 'Kickin' It'. Calvano was featured in a variety in the episodes "Mom" in its Fourth Season. She played the main character in the first three seasons of the series. She won the Gracie Allen Award in 2015 for the Best Female Actor - Rising Star, thanks to her role in 'Mom'.
